The Lease and Rent Control Bill is approved to be a meeting

The Chairman of the New Democratic Party, Mrs Regina Ip, and the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions, Mai Meijuan, drafted a private bill for the exhibition in February this year, proposing restrictions on the rent increase of the property owned and sold by the other party, as well as the vacancy tax. They revealed yesterday that the draft has been approved by the Attorney General for formal submission to the Legislative Council for approval. The Attorney General has only technically revised the contents of the draft, or submitted it to the Housing Panel for consideration. I hope that the Bills Committee will be approved before the summer holidays. It depends on whether the Administration is willing to be included in the Government. The bill, to improve the chances of passing, “the wave has already smashed the government.” Mrs Ye added, “There is no reason for the Government to oppose it, and all the first-hand flats will tighten the vacant tax.”
