The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel will be trials from now on and is expected to officially open after about one month of operation. Covering an area of ​​34,000 square meters, the hotel features 471 uniquely designed guest rooms and suites, including 320 deluxe and premium rooms and 8 deluxe suites. In keeping with the environmental theme, the hotel rooms are dominated by warm colours, while the exterior walls use environmentally friendly materials to block sunlight and save energy. The hotel’s lobby features a 16-meter-high cylindrical aquarium that spans three floors and features thousands of marine fish, pufferfish and other non-endangered wild marine life.

The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, which has been delayed for many times, will start trials from now on, and will be officially opened after about one month of pre-operation. The hotel covers an area of ​​34,000 square meters and consists of 3 buildings, namely the coast, the sea hall and the bay. The design concept is based on the ocean. In line with the environmental protection theme, the hotel’s exterior wall uses environmentally friendly materials, and the aluminum alloy blocks sunlight to save energy. At the same time, it has a green roof. The hotel also has a rainwater circulation system to irrigate plants.

The hotel has a total of 471 uniquely designed guest rooms and suites, including 320 deluxe and premium rooms, 8 deluxe suites, 130 executive rooms, 12 executive suites, and a presidential suite. Designed with the theme of ocean, forest, panda, etc., the theme suite can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children and can be connected to one more room to attract families. As seen on the hotel reservation website, the public can book the room on November 25 at the earliest.

The hotel lobby features a 16-meter-high cylindrical aquarium that spans 3 floors vertically. The aquarium is home to a colourful artificial coral reef that displays a total of more than a thousand species of marine fish, including butterflyfish, pufferfish, and other non-endangered wild marine life. The hotel also has a wedding banquet and conference venue, including the largest hotel banquet hall in Hong Kong, covering an area of ​​2,000 square meters and a maximum of 80 seats.
