Eligible public housing applicants can re-elect urban areas

In recent years, the number of public housing applicants has continued to be at a high level. Since the 2015-16 financial year, the HA has conducted regular qualification checks on quotas and points systems for non-elderly single-person applicants. The government submitted documents to the Legislative Council showing that in the fiscal years 2015/16 and 2016/17 alone, a total of 40,744 applications were examined. As a result, 20,905 cases were canceled, representing a ratio of 51.3%, of which there was no response to repeated inspection requests by the authorities. The main accounted for 14,869 cases.
