Tian Beichen refers to the high-speed rail 9.23 traffic. Tim good luck into the West Kowloon Station

The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail section in Hong Kong is undergoing trial operation. Some Legislative Council members said that they received the news on the 23rd of next month, but they were not confirmed by the MTR and the government.

At the same time, the shops at West Kowloon Station are being rented. The snack shop “Tian Good Fortune” has leased a 5,000-foot shop, specializing in high-speed rail passengers and nearby office buildings. It is expected to invest in 7-digit operation.

The MTR has repeatedly stressed that the Hong Kong section of the High Speed Rail will be open to traffic next month. However, it has not been able to explain the exact date. There is no news of the fare to and from the West Kowloon Station and the Mainland long-haul cities. The Chairman of the Legislative Council Railway Matters Committee, Mr. Tian Beichen, said yesterday that the high-speed railway was officially opened on the 23rd of next month. The opening ceremony will be held on the previous day, September 22.

Inland section ticket handling fee has not been finalized

Regarding the fact that the MTR is not authorized to sell tickets for the high-speed rail inland, the fees charged by the dealers in the future will be charged. The travel industry member Yao Sirong said that he understands that the CTS is still discussing the handling fee level with the MTR. He also pointed out that although the West Kowloon Station has five counters for the distributors to sell the tickets for the Mainland, he is concerned that there are other shops in the station. It is unknown whether there will be other agents selling the tickets and creating alternative competition. He is worried that the sales model may not be necessary. In line with the iron regulations, the MTR has to deal with these problems.

For the rental of shops, it is reported that there is a food court on the ground floor of the West Kowloon Station. It provides 20 stalls and 5,000 berths for catering. The message refers to the number of Michelin restaurants including “Tian Good Fortune” and ” Restaurants such as Gion Garden and “Master Chef” (“Alpine Snack”) are invited to rent.
