The quality of Mapletree Center has been well-received by many multinational corporations. Currently, only the high-rise units of the building are waiting for rent, and the intention is to lease a rent of RMB 40.

WeWork pre-leasing 57,000 呎

Last year, the Mapletree Center started leasing, with the first pre-rental from a full-floor unit, an area of approximately 36,000 square feet, and a closing lease of approximately RMB 25. The new tenant is Mott MacDonald, a well-known engineering consultancy company in the UK and has several offices in Hong Kong. Offices, including Landmark East in Kwun Tong, rented for integrated operations.

For other well-known tenants, WeWork, a shared workspace that opened in Hong Kong in recent years, has also entered East Kowloon and pre-leased 57,000 sq. ft. of buildings at Mapletree Center, which costs around RMB 25.

US companies VF rent a total of 90,000 yen

In terms of the largest hand tenants, VF, a major global clothing and sourcing company of US-invested companies, pre-leased approximately 110,000 sqm of flats on the 3rd floor of the 8th to 10th floors of the property last year. Recently, the brands increased their rent and rented out properties on the 11th and 12th floors. On the 15th floor and the half floor, a total of approximately 90,000 sq. ft. was leased out. The newest rent is $33, involving a total floor area of 200,000 sq. ft., which is the largest tenant in the building.

First Pacific Davies Yao Weiming stated that after a number of large-scale leases, the existing properties are only occupied by more than one high-rise units, and the intention is to lease a lease of about $40. Due to the better view of the high-rise units and the recent rental hiring in East Kowloon, it is expected that short-term rental will be short-term. The tenants will be re-acquired.
