Wah Fu Estate resets 70% dissenting opinion

The Planning Department proposes to convert 5 plots of land in Pok Fu Lam to public housing and provide 8,900 crew resources for resettlement at Wah Fu Estate. The consultation period will receive 4,335 opinions and 70% will be rejected. The Town Planning Board will consider this on Friday.

Over 3,000 (70%) objections were opposed during the revised consultation period. Some District Council members said that the existing 9,100 teams in Wah Fu Estate had to be redeveloped. The 8,900 groups that could be built in 5 places were set aside for relocation reasons and increased traffic in the area. The load should be rebuilt in stages. The Planning Department believes that the reconstruction of Wah Fu Village in five places will release nearly 12,000 supply in the future, and part of the village will be vacated for construction on the South Hong Kong Island Line (West Section). Reducing resources for relocation will extend the resettlement process. The additional goal of reaching public housing. The Town Planning Board reviewed the amendment on Friday and believed that there is little chance of adopting an opposition proposal.
