The Buildings Department approved a total of 23 building plans in March, including 7 on Hong Kong Island, 7 in Kowloon and 9 in the New Territories. These include 5 residential and commercial developments, 11 commercial developments, 1 factory and industrial development, and 6 community service developments.

There are 9 construction projects approved for construction. Upon completion, these buildings will provide a total of 155,800 square meters of floor space for residential use, involving 2085 units and non-residential building floor area of ​​20,900 square meters. . In addition, the department also received notice of the commencement of the superstructure project for five construction projects.

The Buildings Department also issued 19 occupation permits, including 3 on Hong Kong Island, 4 in Kowloon and 12 in the New Territories. Among them, the building floor area for residential use is 13,800 square meters, a total of 432 units; the non-residential building floor area is 88,200 square meters.

The total value of new buildings completed in March was about 5.3 billion yuan.
