Church 320 million to buy Meifu New Village

The former 3rd floor property of Lanxiu Road, Meifu New Village, Hong Kong University, was changed to 324 million yuan. The transaction price was about 9,200 yuan. The new buyer was the Hong Kong Christian Broadcasting Association. Refurbished as a church school.

According to the information provided by the Land Registry, the property is located on the third floor of Lam Sau Road, Mei Fung Estate, Lai Chi Kiu. It is about 42 years old. It is now used by the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education, Kowloon West Campus, as an office of the Chinese Medicine Division, a teaching centre and student internships. Based on a total floor area of approximately 35,200 square feet, the transaction price was approximately RMB 9,205. The new buyer was the Hong Kong Christian Broadcasting Association.

HKUST holds goods for 12 years and earns 270 million

The project was purchased by the University of Hong Kong in August 2006 for $50 million. It was 374 million yuan in the hands of the book, and it was nearly 4.5 times in value for 12 years. As the upper level of the property is a private residence, it is adjacent to the Mei Foo MTR Station and the bus terminus. It is expected that after the new purchase is purchased, it will be refurbished for use as a church school.
