Earlier hearings revealed that Leighton had made two changes to the design of the continuous wall on the east side of Hung Hom Station, which removed the U-shaped bars at the top of the continuous wall and cut off the stone sarcophagus at the top of the continuous wall. The design team did not know that the top of the continuous wall had been revised for the second time until July this year. in. However, the construction of the MTR Sha Tin Central Line, Mr Chan Ka-lin, thinks that the change is very minor and it is not necessary to obtain the consent of the Buildings Department. He also pointed out that there are other more important problems in the project. It is impossible for everything to wait for the Buildings Department to agree to the changes before starting work. .
