Yuen Long District Plan to maintain the original revision

The Town Planning Board discussed the draft Outline Zoning Plan of Lau Fau Shan, Ping Shan, Tin Shui Wai and Lam Tei in Yuen Long on Friday (9th). During the consultation period, 14 applications were received. The Planning Department said that the comments involved the development of the Hung Shui Kiu district and will maintain the original revision.

A number of environmental groups have proposed that the existing multi-zone agriculture and rural land use should be retained, and that there is a concern that the future housing construction in the area will not match the transportation facilities. The Planning Department considers that the relevant application is a proposal involving the Hung Shui Kiu and Ha Tsuen sub-district outline in his district and will maintain the original revision.

In addition, in preparation for the future development of the Golden Pebble Redevelopment project with a market capitalization of over $20 billion, the Development Bureau proposed to improve the existing pedestrian access system, which mainly includes the opening of a pedestrian from Golden Fortune Corridor to the Tamar Government Headquarters overpass. Flyover, the Town Planning Board discussed on Friday.
