According to statistics from the Research Department of the Midland Industrial and Commercial Department, the overall industrial property price in June rose slightly by 0.6% in the month and 0.8% in the first half. By region, Chai Wan performed best in the first half of the year, rising 6.8%. However, the transaction data was weak. In June, the number of registered industrial and commercial transactions fell by 36.8% month-on-month, and the registered amount fell by 26.4%. In the first half of the year, the number of registrations fell by 50.8% year-on-year, and the registered amount fell by 31.6%. The bank expects that due to the trade war variable and the political disputes in Hong Kong, the market will have a strong wait-and-see atmosphere. It is expected that the price of industrial buildings will remain stable in the second half of the year.
