At the summit, Xu Jiayin elaborated on the future planning and specific goals of Evergrande. Evergrande’s goal is to become the world’s largest and most powerful new energy vehicle group within three to five years, with an annual production and sales of 5 million units in 10 years. To this end, the positioning of Evergrande’s new energy vehicles has been formulated, “three musts”, core technologies must be world-leading; product quality must be world-class; costs must be significantly reduced.

Among them, Evergrande established the New Energy Vehicle Global Research Institute, and developed 15 new models and key technologies in parallel with the world’s top five automotive engineering technology companies (Germany FEV, Germany EDAG, Germany IAV, Austria AVL, Canada MAGNA), covering top-level models. All grades such as ultra-luxury, luxury, exclusive, comfortable, classic, and all models of cars, SUVs, MPVs, etc., fully cover the product line.

At the same time, Evergrande will deploy 10 major vehicle and component production bases in China, Sweden and the countries along the Belt and Road. It is understood that all production bases will be built according to the “Industry 4.0” standard, and strive to become a model of high-end smart factories in the industry. By using artificial intelligence and IoT technology, the “black light factory” for unmanned production lines such as stamping, bodywork, and painting is realized.

The company mentioned that in the body shop, the Japanese FANUC robot and the German KUKA line body technology are used to realize the flexible and unmanned production of multi-vehicle and multi-connection processes. As for the painting workshop, the latest technology of German Dürr is used to realize the automatic coating and glue spraying, and reduce the use of chemicals and save 60% energy consumption. In addition, Evergrande has built a number of 60GWh super-factories within 10 years by entering the card-resistant new energy source and owning the core technology of power battery. The power battery technology strives to reach the world-class level within one to two years.
