Pok Fu Lam South Infrastructure Project Tender for the third quarter

The Government will speed up the development of public housing. The Civil Engineering Department will provide tender for the site leveling and infrastructure projects for the five public housing developments in Pok Fu Lam in the third quarter of this year. It will provide 8,900 teams. It is expected that the earliest phase will be used for Wah Fu. The relocation unit of the village reconstruction is expected to be completed in 2025.

About 13 hectares of land

According to the information, the project involves the site leveling, as well as the road and drainage works. The area is about 13 hectares. According to the Government’s planning, 11 residential buildings will be built. Upon completion of the project, it will tie in with the redevelopment of Wah Fu Estate. A total of 12,200 gangs will be provided, providing a total of 21,000 gangs.

In addition, the public housing flat works at Biyun Road in Yau Tong will also be tendered in the third quarter of the same period. It will start construction next year and is expected to provide 3,120 people. The site area of ​​the project is about 2.5 hectares. Due to the fact that it is located on the slope, the site leveling work is complicated. According to the Government’s earlier disclosure, the construction cost of the proposed project is estimated to be 1.823 billion yuan, including site leveling, construction of retaining wall works, construction of two footbridges and road widening projects. As for the project, five residential buildings will be built and 3,120 units will be provided.
