2608 cases registered this month

According to the latest information from the Land Registry, 2608 residential property registrations (excluding first-hand public housing) were recorded on the 18th of this month, which was similar to the same period last month. In the three districts of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, 1237 registrations were recorded in the New Territories, representing a decrease of about 3.9% as compared with the 1287 cases in the same period last month. The number of registered 975 cases in Kowloon was about 3.3% lower than the 1008 cases in the same period last month. On the other hand, 396 registrations were recorded on Hong Kong Island, an increase of about 26.5% from 313 cases in the same period last month.

Hong Kong Island rose 26.5% month-on-month

For the first-hand market, 745 registrations have been recorded so far this month, representing a decrease of 24.7% as compared with the 990 cases in the same period of last month. Among them, 268 registrations were recorded in the New Territories, a decrease of 29.5% as compared with the 380 cases in the same period of last month. Registration was about 24.6% lower than the 593 cases in the same period last month. On the other hand, there were 30 registrations on Hong Kong Island, an increase of 76.5% from 17 in the same period last month.

In the second-hand residential market, there were 1 863 registrations in this month, an increase of 15.1% over the 1618 cases in the same period of last month

Among them, 528 registered in Kowloon, an increase of 27.2% over 415 in the same period of last month; The number of registrations increased by about 23.6% as compared with 296 cases in the same period last month. The number of registered 969 cases in the New Territories increased by about 6.8% compared with 907 cases in the same period last month.
