The Housing Authority has applied to the Town Planning Board in August this year to relax the height restriction of a public housing development site at Pik Wan Road, Yau Tong
It will construct a 41-storey mixed-use building with 864 public housing flats and an elderly estate. There are about 572,000 square meters of residential buildings and day care centers for the elderly.
The Planning Department considers that the relaxation of the high limit will increase the number of units that can be built in the land by 312
The relevant departments have no negative views on the landscape. Therefore, the department does not oppose the application. It is expected that the TPB will consider it on Friday (18th). The big opportunity is to “green light.”
